Design New Year

From morning to the end of the night, an open-air event in which the public is called on to contribute, to become a co-author, to explore the meaning of a "mysterious" object called Design, becoming a designer for a day or only for half an hour.

WORKSHOPS
5 DIY workshops , lasting half an hour, fast, intuitive and stimulating, to produce and take away 5 objects, souvenirs, experiences of design, made with your own hands.

Luminous LEDs - the invasion of magnetic lights

Learn to make them! It's very simple: you need just a LED, a magnet and a small battery. LED Throwies were invented by Graffiti Research Lab in New York.

A CRACK INTO THE WALL

A video installation created exclusively for the New Year of Torino 2008 World Design Capital. The images by Botto&Bruno, artists from Torino, known throughout the world, come alive to become electronic landscapes in movement.
Music and video give life to a decomposed and recombined urban digital space in atmospheric settings.
